Women of Grace – Quilting
The Women of Grace together with some of the United Church ladies and their many friends are an avid group of quilters who work from Sep – May to sew quilt tops to batting and backings. The quilts are gathered up and shipped to “Canada Comforts” where they are gathered up and shipped to Canadian Lutheran World Relief, where they are then sent to various projects, refugee camps and other places that need aid all over the globe.
Quilting takes place Wednesday afternoons beginning at 1:30 p.m. at our old location 11101 – 17 Street. Please contact Shirley Grayston at 250-782-4457 for any further information.
Potluck Lunches
Every Sunday following our worship service we welcome our members and guests to join us for a potluck lunch. We enjoy the time each week to talk to each other and celebrate the little events in each others lives, such as birthdays and new babies.
North Rolla Lutheran Church Service
Every July we pack up our hymnals and have a service out at our mother church, the historic North Rolla Lutheran Church. The service is usually followed by a lunch at the North Rolla Hall. It’s always a wonderful experience to worship together in such a beautiful and well taken care of old church.
Christmas Advent Season

Each Advent season we previously used to decorate our worship space with beautiful banners hung from the ceiling of our sanctuary. We used to gather a group of our members and friends and go out to the country to cut down a natural evergreen to bring back and decorate with handmade stitched ornaments made by our very own congregation.”
We continue to have a catered Hot Turkey Christmas Dinner on the First Sunday of Advent each year followed by Christmas Carrolls that is open to everyone in the community.
One year we had a “Seniors Christmas Pageant”.
